Byzanine Bodies is an immersive, window-display exhibition in Ramsgate, United. This project is a look into a speculated future in which humans are able to grow their own ‘trichomes’ from their body to protect them from harmful, respiratory pollutants such as pollen, dirt, potential virus spores. About 80% of plant species have trichomes depending on their genetic makeup and what these trichomes do is protect them from pollutants.&#38;nbsp;

The piece was showcased at Madsen Sylvester Studio as a a physical and digital exhibition that lasted for two weeks. A QR code was visible from passerbys of the gallery and when scanned, would allow users to wear an augmented reality filter showing their face, with plant trichomes growing from their skin.︎https://www.cyanamadsen.com/madsen-sylvester-studio︎

Selected as one of 5 international artists, I participated in a virtual, live performance exhibition curated by artist and curator, Katherine Hintz. Five artists included myself worked for seven weeks putting together separate VR experiences all under the theme of digital identity, the digital body and connection through 3D environments. We helped curate the show, Corporeal Gestalt where we all performed in real time to an audience in virtual space. My piece being titled “IN ARTIFICIAL REALITIES, MY FEMALE BODY CAN LAY TO REST”, I explored my own body in the safety of online space and it’s implacations outside of sexual context. &#38;nbsp;

You, Watching Me, Watching You, Watching Us
 is an immersive experience questioning what it
means to be sensed, measured and quantified by machines.
As part of a trio of visiting fellows at Central Saint Martins, I and two prominent co-artists gave lectures and guided a group of CSM graduate students through their “Party Brief” section of their course. The Party Brief is a yearly grad level project in the Narrative Environments program at Central Saint Martins where students are given a prompt, guidelines and guidance based on visiting fellow’s expertise to create an immersive experience.&#38;nbsp;</description>

2071 is a speculative design piece that presents a possible future where disease control and sustainable agriculture are emphasized in everyday life. This piece is comprised of three parts. The first being a narrative short film meant to act as propoganda for the world, a projection mapped dining table and a codec that showcases a family living in this world and their health ratings.

Spur Time is a short film acting as an experimentation with transit time and hyper reality. With the very recent release of Apple’s Vision Pro at the time, I believe that we unlocked a new epoch that could lead to augmented reality being an integrated part of everyday life. This film was made during the Johnny Carson Center’s 72 Hour film festival hosted at ILM London. Spur Time came in at first place after showing to a panel of three judges; all who of which are innovators in the world of speculative design at Central Saint Martins.&#38;nbsp;

Far Field is a VR Dance Experience created to showcase at the Kennedy Center’s Internation Day of Dance in Washington, DC.&#38;nbsp; It is an embodied archive of the project collaborator’s(dancers, producers and developers) experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic. Altered Zoom meetings and personally recorded video fill the virtual space, filtered through algorithmic and textural processes. This environment-as-diary renders our bodies-as-texture within shifting and shared architectures, both physical and virtual.

Moonlit is an immersive experience following the story of a fictional moon spirit and creatures of a forest. By combining interactive technical intalls, live actors and physical theater props, a new world was brought to life and opened to the public.
Audience members of all ages were encouraged to participate in the world by being offered multiple settings, activities and affordances. While creating this experience my team and I wanted to make sure everyone felt comfortable in the experience while at the same time engaged. We did this by making it possible to mingle, dance, lounge and order from the “sensory bar.” There was also the option to could follow the storyline which acted as a puzzle. You had to talk to each of the forest characters to receive a token to meet and speak with the moon spirit.&#38;nbsp; At the end of the night, the moon spirit then came out and mingled with all of the guests.

Nostalgia for the Future is window display piece that showcases a fashion line. This project brought the audience into a nostalgic, liminal space in which live actors portray different tarot cards through each outfit. This was showcased as a one time live performance at the Johnny Carson School.
